I have been doing therapy for many years using a broad view of the human condition, which I understand is addictive and needs to grow and develop mentally, physically, spiritually and socially. In my work as a clergy man, I helped people learn that they can succeed in their lives and move from a feeling of hopelessness to one of hope and confidence. In the over 20 years since first beginning to work as a Psychotherapist, I have helped individuals, couples and families in a practical way. My aim is to help them find answers by learning to express themselves in regards to their feelings and their objectives.

A large part of my practice is focused on anger management. Some call me the anger management guru. Over the past 20 years, I have taught and counselled thousands of people about developing a healthy relationship with anger. Using an unique approach that demystifies anger, I help my clients come to a better understanding of their anger, its triggers, and then work with them, as I teach effective strategies and show them ways to implement healthy coping skills to de-escalate their anger. I also provide on-going supervision and training for therapists and counsellors across Canada seeking insight into my proven anger management modules.

In therapy, I use a variety of modalities such as, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Rogerian Theory and Psychoanalytic and have personally developed several modules that help simplify teachings for change, such as Expectation, Life Cycle Changes, Anger Management, Family Ties and Communication.

My overall approach is a very practical common sense one, which helps clients experience positive change after their first session. Many of my clients have reported having a better sense of well-being, with less stress, anger, depression and more hope after the very first session. I love my work and am here to help individuals, couples and families in their journey to positive change and growth.
