I have been doing therapy for many years using a broad view of the human condition, which I understand is addictive and needs to grow and develop mentally, physically, spiritually and socially. In my work as a clergy man, I helped people learn that they can succeed in their lives and move from a feeling of hopelessness to one of hope and confidence.
In the over 20 years since first beginning to work as a Psychotherapist, I have helped individuals, couples and families in a practical way. My aim is to help them find answers by learning to express themselves in regards to their feelings and their objectives.
I am a family and group therapist with extensive training and over 30 years experience in individual, couples, children and adolescents, group and family therapy and I have counselled clients with a variety of mental, emotional, social and spiritual issues from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds in New York, Toronto and Alberta.
As an educator, I have facilitated awareness and treatment groups in Anger Management, Domestic Violence, Alcohol and Substance Abuse and Women Issues. I provide caring and compassionate care in my counselling and feel privileged to walk alongside my clients in their healing journeys as they gain insight and strength towards change.
My approach is holistic and employs a variety of therapies, skills and treatment methods as appropriate to meet the needs of my clients.
