Beating Anger Management

At A1 Counselling, we offer Anger Management Therapy to a variety of clients. Many of the clients who come through our offices are working towards rehabilitation for Civil or Criminal Charges. This is often referred to as Court Mandated Therapy. It is very common for our clients to say that they wish they had taken the class before things got this bad.

We are here to help you before it’s too late.

Anger can be a very dangerous thing when you do not understand how to express it appropriately. However, anger is not the problem. The lack of education on healthy anger expression is the problem. When you do not know how to express your anger in any other way than through aggression, then you are simply not equipped to deal with anger provoking situations.

Anger Can Often Make People Feel:

  • Out of control
  • Like a different person
  • Helpless

When you are not in control of your anger, you may feel that you are not able to be your best self in every situation. We are here to help you learn how to express your anger both effectively and appropriately. At A1 Counselling, we do not believe you should not express your anger. However, we believe that there is always a better way to express anger, rather than using aggression.

  • Being in control of your emotions
  • Expressing your rights without denying others their rights
  • Fixing the problem, instead of fighting the problem
